Privacy Policy for GLB Cleaner
GLB Cleaner is a developer tool whose single purpose is to detect GLB model responses in the browser tab the user is actively inspecting, preview their scene structure, remove scenes selected by the user, and download the cleaned model.
Data the extension handles
While Chrome DevTools is open, the extension temporarily reads network-request metadata from the inspected tab, including request URLs, methods, response status codes, content types, and approximate sizes. Request URLs constitute browsing activity. When the user selects a possible GLB, the extension may read the response body through the Chrome DevTools API or request the same URL directly to load the model.
The extension also handles GLB files that the user explicitly opens from their computer.
How data is used and stored
This data is used only to provide the visible GLB capture, preview, cleanup, and download features. Request metadata is retained in temporary browser session storage while the inspected DevTools session is active and is removed when the session expires or the user selects Clear session. Model data is processed locally in the browser and retained only in memory for the active panel session, except for files the user explicitly downloads.
Sharing and transmission
The developer does not receive, collect, sell, or share request metadata, browsing activity, model contents, or locally opened files. The extension does not use analytics or advertising services. A direct GLB retry communicates only with the host already present in the user-selected request URL.
Permissions
The extension uses network-observation and host permissions to identify model requests from the inspected tab. It uses storage permission only for temporary session request metadata. These permissions are not used to monitor tabs that are not registered by an active GLB Cleaner DevTools session.
